Pocket Golf

Pocket Golf is minigolf drawn on notebook paper, and the obstacles are what was lying on the desk: pencils to bank off, erasers to go round, the odd surprise sketched in biro. Drag back from the ball, judge the power, let go. There is no wind, no spin and no club selection — the whole game is the line and the strength of the flick, which is why dozens of short holes never quite become routine. Par is printed on each one, and beating it is the only score that matters.
