Rocket Ninja Cyborg

A vertical climb with a rope. You jump with the arrow keys, throw a ninja rope by holding the mouse, and cling to platforms to swing from them — and below you a rising tide of magma makes stopping fatal. The cyborg at the center of it has four ways to gain height and needs all of them, because the rope rewards momentum rather than caution: a good swing carries further than any jump.
