Hockey reduced to the only part that matters in an arcade: two players, one puck, and a net behind each of them. You slide up and down your side of the ice and try to meet the puck at an angle the other player cannot cover. There is no passing and no whistle, so a match is a long rally punctuated by goals, and the ice keeps everything moving a moment longer than you expect. It takes about four seconds to learn and stays close for as long as both of you care.
