Two players, two maps and a supply of TNT. Boom Duello gives each side a bomb to place and a few seconds before it goes off, which turns a small pixel arena into a question of where the other one has to walk next. Blocks break, routes close behind you, and the round ends the moment somebody is standing in the wrong square. There is nothing else to it — no upgrades, no unlocks, no single-player campaign — and for two people at one keyboard that is exactly the right amount.
