A hundred levels of rising lava, arrow shooters and moving cutters, played by a character who fires back on his own. The Lava Escape leaves you only the movement — jump the pit, time the gap between the arrows, get out from under the thing that is coming down — and because the shooting is automatic, the levels can throw more at you than a game with an attack button could. Bosses arrive as stacked pairs of monsters with slow, heavy projectiles you have to read rather than dodge blindly. Gems unlock skins.
