A two-deck patience game with a reputation for being hard to beat, and a thieves-and-treasure frame laid over it. Forty Thieves uses eight foundations and ten tableau piles built down in suit, with only one card moved at a time — which is what makes it difficult: there is almost no room to shuffle things around while you wait for what you need. The in-game tutorial covers the rules, and the appeal is that most deals genuinely do not come out.
