A fighting game scribbled on notebook paper, and the scribble is the joke that carries it. Five doodle fighters, combos off punches and kicks, pencils and pipes to pick up off the floor, and a power bar that fires a special. The finish is where Crumple Rumble earns its place: when your rival is dizzy the announcer calls for the last hit, and what you land decides how they go out — flattened, folded into a paper plane, inflated, erased, a dozen endings in all. Two people play it on one keyboard.
