A time-management strategy game set on the edge of the Roman Empire, with barbarians destroying the provinces and a small expedition sent to put them right. Each level is a resource puzzle: gather, clear the road, build, and reach the objective before the time allowance runs out. The story of Rome carries between levels, which is unusual for the genre and part of why these games are played through rather than replayed.
Fixed by us. This one would not start in the modern player: the menu was built with a text engine the player does not emulate yet, and it died before the buttons appeared. We rebuilt that part of the game ourselves. It plays through — the menu, the campaign map and the levels. The lettering is not the original typeface: those fonts can only be drawn by the engine that is missing.
