A precision platformer that goes down instead of up. Lumen Descent sets twelve floors of a forgotten tower between you and the bottom, and gives you a jump, a dash and the ability to drop through a platform — three verbs, handcrafted obstacles, and checkpoints placed exactly where the designer thinks you have earned one. The light you carry is the only thing lighting the room, which makes the descent feel like a descent rather than a level list. It is difficult on purpose, and the retry key is under your finger for a reason.
