Last Shift

Five office workers against the machines, played top-down with one unusual rule: standing still is how you attack. Last Shift fires automatically whenever you stop moving, so every fight is a negotiation between dodging and damage. The programmer throws homing code bolts, the cleaner slows things with soap spray, the garbage collector hits through a line of enemies. Five chapters of ten rooms each end in a boss, and every level-up offers a new ability — twin shot, ricochet, chain lightning, a force field. Campaign, survival, boss rush and an endless skyscraper.
