Snakes and ladders with the fable painted over it: the hare climbs, the tortoise climbs, and the dice decide which of them is having a better afternoon. Hare and Tortoise is a children's board game and makes no attempt to be anything else — there is no decision to make on your turn, only a throw and a consequence, which is exactly why it works for a five-year-old and a parent sitting at the same screen. Three modes: against the computer, against another person, or with no computer player at all.
