Draughts on an eight-by-eight board, with the English rules: men move forward, captures are forced, and a man that reaches the far rank is crowned. The engine will give you a real game at the higher settings and a merciful one at the lower, and it marks the squares a selected piece can reach, which removes the most common beginner mistake without removing the thinking. Two people can share one screen, and at that point the forced capture rule turns every careless move into a gift.
